Promulgated the Decree of the Congregation for Causes of Saints concerning the nine Martyrs of the Castilian Province
On 19th December 2011, the Holy Father, Benedict XVI, received in a private audience Cardinal Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. During the course of the audience the Holy Father authorized the Congregation to promulgate the Decree concerning the Servants of God Alberto Maria Marco Aleman O.Carm. and eight friars of our Order; all killed by those who violently opposed their faith in the territory of the archdioceses of Madrid (Spain) between 1936 and 1937.
This group is to be added to those of the Province of Betica, Servants of God Carmelo M. Moyano and companions. Soon the date of the beatification of these two groups of martyrs will be decided with the authorities concerned. The Postulator General is still working on the process of the group of presumed martyrs of the Arago-Valentina Province.

Promulgado el Decreto de la Congregación de las Causas de los Santos concerniente a los nueve mártires de la Provincia de Castilla
El 19 de diciembre de 2011, el Santo Padre Benedicto XVI ha recibido en audiencia privada al Cardenal Angelo Amato, Prefecto de la Congregación de las Causas de los Santos. En el transcurso de dicha audiencia, el Santo Padre ha dado el permiso a la Congregación para promulgar el Decreto acerca del martirio de los Siervos de Dios Alberto Mª Marco Alemán O.Carm. y ocho frailes de nuestra Orden asesinados por odio a la fe en diversos lugares del territorio de la archidiócesis de Madrid (España) entre 1936 y 1937.
Este grupo va a añadirse al de los Siervos de Dios Carmelo Mª. Moyano y compañeros mártires de nuestra Provincia Bética. Próximamente se decidirá con las autoridades respectivas la fecha de beatificación de estos dos grupos de mártires. El Postulador General está todavía trabajando para el proceso del grupo de presuntos mártires de nuestra Provincia Arago-Valentina.

Promulgato il decreto della Congregazione delle Cause dei Santi sul martirio di nove frati della Provincia di Castiglia
Il 19 dicembre 2011, il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI ha ricevuto in udienza privata il Cardinale Angelo Amato, Prefetto della Congregazione delle Cause dei Santi. Nel corso dell’udienza il Santo Padre ha autorizzato la Congregazione a promulgare il Decreto riguardante il martirio dei Servi di Dio Alberto Maria Marco Alemán, O.Carm. e otto frati dell'Ordine dei Carmelitani, uccisi in odio alla fede in diversi luoghi entro i confini dell'Arcidiocesi di Madrid (Spagna) tra il 1936 e il 1937.
Questo gruppo si aggiunge a quello dei Servi di Dio Carmelo M. Moyano e compagni della Provincia Betica. Prossimanamente si deciderà con le autorità interessate la data della beatificazione di questi due gruppi di martiri. Il Postulatore Generale sta ancora lavorando per il processo del gruppo dei presunti martiri della Provincia Arago-Valentina.
