Activities of the Prior General
On the 17th of December 2011, in the company of Fr. John Keating, O.Carm., Councilor General for Europe, the Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral O.Carm., gave a talk a the ecumenical centre for lay people in Rome, (The Lay Centre at Foyer Unitas) in the topic: "Alternative Expressions for talking about God". From the 6th to the 8ty of January, he took part in the "All Students Gathering" of the two North American provinces (PCM and SEL) in Whitefriars Hall in Washington DC. In his talks, the Prior General, explore the theme: "Blessed Titus Brandsma, model for the Carmelites of the 21st century."
In the month of January, in the company of Fr. Raúl Maraví, O.Carm., Councilor General of the Americas, he took part in the assembly of the "Titus Brandsma" General Delegation in Colombia (del 10 al 13), and in the elective assembly of the Provincial Commissariat of Peru (del 17 al 20) where he was accompanied by the Prior Provincial of the Province of PCM, Fr. Carl Markelz, O.Carm. At the last moment due to flight difficulties he was not able to attend the assembly of the Provincial Commissariat of Bolivia (which took place from 24 to 27 January). Therefore, the Prior Provincial of Malta, Fr. Michael Farrugia, O.Carm., presided at the assembly.
Furthermore, during the months of December and January, the Prior General visited the monasteries of cloistered nuns in Vetralla (Italy), Sutri (Italy), Piedrahita (Spain) and Madrid (Spain) and Camaná (Peru), taking advantage of his visit to Peru.

Actividades del Prior General
El pasado día 17 de diciembre de 2011, acompañado del P. John Keating, O.Carm., Consejero General para Europa, el Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral O.Carm., dio una conferencia en el Centro ecuménico para laicos de Roma (The Lay Centre at Foyer Unitas) sobre el tema: “Lenguajes alternativos para hablar de Dios”. Del 6 al 8 de enero, participó en el encuentro de los estudiantes (All Students Gathering) de las dos provincias de Norteamérica (PCM y SEL) en el Whitefriars Hall de Washington DC. En sus charlas, el Prior General desarrolló el tema: “El beato Tito, modelo para los Carmelitas del siglo XXI”.
En el mes de enero, acompañado del P. Raúl Maraví, O.Carm., Consejero General para América, ha participado en la asamblea de la Delegación General "Tito Brandsma" de Colombia (del 10 al 13), y en la asamblea electiva del Comisariado Provincial del Perú (del 17 al 20) donde estuvo acompañado del Prior Provincial de la Provincia de PCM, P. Carl Markelz, O.Carm. A última hora, no pudo acudir a la asamblea del Comisariado Provincial de Bolivia (que tuvo lugar del 24 al 27 de enero), por problemas con los vuelos, por lo que ésta fue presidida por el P. Michael Farrugia, O.Carm., Provincial de Malta.
Asimismo, durante los meses de diciembre y enero, el Prior General ha visitado los monasterios de monjas de Vetralla y Sutri en Italia, de Piedrahita y Madrid en España y de Camaná en Perú (aprovechando su estancia en Perú).

Attività del Priore Generale
Il 17 dicembre 2011 il Priore Generale, accompagnato dal Consigliere Generale per l'Europa, P. John Keating, O.Carm., ha tenuto una conferenza nel centro ecumenico per laici di Roma (The Lay Centre at Foyer Unitas) sul tema: "Linguaggi alternativi per parlare di Dio". Dal 6 all'8 gennaio 2012 ha partecipato all'incontro degli studenti (All Students Gathering) delle provincie nordamericane (PCM e SEL) a Whitefriars Hall, Washington DC. Nelle sue conferenze il Priore Generale ha parlato sul tema: "Il beato Tito, modello per i Carmelitani del XXI sec."
Nel mese di gennaio, accompagnato dal Consigliere Generale per le Americhe, P. Raúl Maraví, O.Carm., ha partecipato all'assemblea della Delegazione Generale "Tito Brandsma" di Colombia (dal 10 al 13) e insieme al Priore Provinciale della Provincia PCM, P. Carl Markelz, O.Carm. all'assemblea elettiva del Commissariato Provinciale del Perù (dal 17 al 20). All'ultimo momento, a causa di problemi con i voli, non è riuscito a partecipare all'assemblea del Commissariato Provinciale di Bolivia, che si è tenuta dal 24 al 27 gennaio. Pertanto l'ha preseduto il Priore Provinciale di Malta, P. Michael Farrugia, O.Carm.
Infine, il Priore Generale ha visitato i monasteri di Vetralla e Sutri in Italia, di Piedrahita e Madrid in Spagna e, approfittando del suo soggiorno in Perù, quello di Camaná.
