25 Years of Affiliation of the Donum Dei Missionary Family
Last Sunday, the 19th of February, in the Church of St. Eustachio in the heart of Rome, a Mass was celebrated in thanksgiving for the 25 years of affiliation to the Carmelite Order of the Donum Dei Missionary Family. The celebration was led by the Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm., The concelebrants included members of the General Curia, the Prior and members of the community of CISA, the Prior Provincial of the North American Province of St. Elias, Fr. Mario Esposito, O.Carm., and a number of priest friends of Donum Dei. The Responsable General (Family Leader) Agnés Brethome, expressed her gratitude for this affiliation which was the fulfilment of the desire of the Founder, Fr. Marcel Roussel, expressed in his much remember prayer to the Blessed Virgin, “Prenez nous dans votre famille”, ("Receive us into your family”). In his homily, the Prior General spoke about the very fruitful collaboration there has been with the Donum Dei Family especially in a number of missions of the Order and he congratulated them on behalf of the whole Carmelite Family.

25 años de afiliación de la Familia Misionera Donum Dei
El pasado domingo, día 19 de febrero, en la Iglesia de San Eustaquio de Roma tuvo lugar una eucaristía de acción de gracias por los 25 años de afiliación a la Orden del Carmen de la Familia Misionera Donum Dei (FMDD), presidida por el Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm., y en la que concelebraron algunos miembros de la Curia, el Prior y algunos Carmelitas del CISA, el Provincial de la Provincia Americana de San Elías (SEL), P. Mario Esposito, O.Carm., y numerosos sacerdotes amigos del Donum Dei. La Responsable General, Agnès Brethome, expresó su gratitud por esta afiliación que colmó el deseo del fundador, P. Marcel Roussel Galle, expresado en su famosa oración a la Virgen del Carmen: “Prenez nous dans votre famille" (“Acógenos en tu familia”). En su homilía, el Prior General destacó la fecunda colaboración con la FMDD, sobre todo en algunas misiones de la Orden y les felicitó por este aniversario en nombre de toda la familia del Carmelo.

25 anni di affiliazione della Famiglia Missionaria Donum Dei
Domenica scorsa, 19 febbraio, si è celebrata nella chiesa di Sant'Eustachio a Roma un'eucaristia di ringraziamento in occasione del 25° anniversario dell'affiliazione all'Ordine Carmelitano della Famiglia Missionaria Donum Dei (FMDD). Ha preseduto il Priore Generale, P. Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm. e hanno concelebrato vari membri della Curia, il Priore e alcuni carmelitani del CISA, il Priore Provinciale della Provincia Americana di Sant'Elia (SEL), P. Mario Esposito, O.Carm., e numerosi amici sacerdoti della Famiglia Donum Dei. La Responsabile Generale, Agnès Brethome, ha espresso la sua gratitudine per l'affiliazione che realizza il desiderio del fondatore P. Marcel Roussel Galle, formulato nella sua famosa preghiera alla Madonna del Carmine: “Prenez nous dans votre famille" (“Accoglici nella tua famiglia”). Nell'omelia il Priore Generale ha rilevato la feconda collaborazione con la FMDD, soprattutto in alcune missioni dell'Ordine, e ha espresso gli auguri a nome di tutta la famiglia del Carmelo per questo anniversario.
