Elections of General Councilors

On this day, the Chapter elected the General Councilors for the various areas of the world.

For the General Area of Africa, Rev. Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm. of Zimbabwe (HIB).

For the General Area of the Americas, Very Rev. Raúl Maraví Cabrera, O.Carm. of Peru (PCM).

For the General Area of Asia-Australia-Oceania, Rev. Benny Phang Kong Wing, O.Carm. of Indonesia.

For the General Area of Europe, Very Rev. John Keating, O.Carm. of Ireland.

Raúl Maraví and John Keating were elected to a second term on the Council while Conrad and Benny begin their service to the Order in this special way.

These men join those who were elected yesterday to the General Council with the duty of promoting the contemplative Carmelite life of prayer, community and service throughout the world. The entire Order asks that the protection and prayers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will support them in their tasks for the next six years.

Elecciones de los Consejeros Generales

En el día de hoy han sido elegidos los consejeros para las distintas áreas geográficas del mundo.

Como Consejero General para África, el Rev. Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm. de Zimbabue (HIB)

Como Consejero General para  América, el Rev. Raúl Maraví Cabrera, O.Carm. del Peru (PCM).

Como Consejero General para Asia-Australia-Oceanía,  el Rev.Benny Phang Kong Wing, O.Carm. de Indonesia.

Como Consejero General para Europa, el Rev. John Keating de Irlanda.

Raúl Maraví y John Keating han sido elegidos para un segundo mandato como consejeros, mientras Conrad y Benny comienzan hoy este servicio especial para la Orden.

Estos hermanos junto a aquellos que fueron elegidos ayer formaran parte del nuevo Consejo General que tendrá la tarea de promover la belleza de la vida contemplativa carmelita en el mundo a través de la oración la fraternidad y el servicio.

Toda la Orden les encomienda a la protección y a la oración de Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo para que los guie y ayude en el trabajo de los próximos seis años.

Elezioni dei Consiglieri generali

In questa giornata sono stati eletti i Consiglieri Generali per le varie aree geografiche del mondo.

Come Consigliere Generale per l’Africa, il Rev. Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm. dello Zimbabwe (HIB)

Come Consigliere Generale per l’America, il Rev. Raúl Maraví Cabrera, O.Carm. del Peru (PCM).

Come Consigliere Generale per l’Asia-Australia-Oceania, il Rev.Benny Phang Kong, O.Carm. Wing dall’Indonesia.

Come Consigliere Generale per l’Europa, il Rev. John Keating dall’Irlanda.

Raúl Maraví e John Keating sono stati eletti per un secondo mandato da Consigliere mentre Conrad e Benny iniziano oggi questo speciale servizio per l’Ordine.

Questi fratelli insieme a coloro che erano stati eletti ieri faranno parte del nuovo Consiglio Generale  che avrà il compito di promuovere la bellezza della vita contemplativa carmelitana nel mondo attraverso la preghiera, la fraternità e il servizio.

L’intero Ordine li affida alla protezione e alla preghiera della nostra Signora del Monte Carmelo nel guidarli e supportarli nel lavoro dei prossimi sei anni.
