A change of date for the memorial of St. Nuno Alvarez Pereira, from the 1st of April to the 6th of November.
The Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments recently approved the changing of the date of the memorial of St. Nuno Alvarez Pereira from the 1st of April to the 6th of November. This change to the liturgical calendar of the Order is to take effect immediately. Now that he has been canonised, this change provides the possibility of celebrating the memorial of St. Nuno.  The fact that the previous date coincided normally with Lent or with the Octave of Easter often meant that it was not celebrated. Now everyone is in line with the date already followed in Portugal. Unfortunately, the Congregation did not grant the raising of the memorial to a feast for the whole Order.

Cambio de la memoria de San Nuño Alvares Pereira del 1 de abril al 6 de noviembre
La Congregación para el Culto Divino y la Disciplina de los Sacramentos ha concedido recientemente el cambio de fecha para la memoria de San Nuño Alvares Pereira del 1 de abril al 6 de noviembre. Este cambio en el calendario litúrgico de la Orden entra en vigor de manera inmediata. Desde su canonización, existe ciertamente la posibilidad de celebrar la memoria de San Nuño. Pero de hecho, la coincidencia de la anterior fecha con la Cuaresma o con la Octava de Pascua ha impedido repetidamente tal celebración. La actual fecha coincide, además, con la fecha vigente en Portugal. Desafortunadamente, la Congregación no ha concedido que la memoria fuese elevada a la categoría de fiesta para toda la Orden.

Spostamento della memoria di San Nuno Alvares Pereira dal 1° aprile al 6 novembre
La Congregazione per il Culto Divino e la Disciplina dei Sacramenti ha concesso recentemente lo spostamento della data della memoria di San Nuno Alvares Pereira dal 1° aprile al 6 novembre. Questo cambiamento del calendario liturgico dell'Ordine va immediatamente in vigore. In tal modo dopo la sua canonizzazione si ha certamente la possibilità di celebrare la memoria di San Nuno. Infatti, la coincidenza della data precedente con la Quaresima o l'Ottava di Pasqua ha spesso impedito tale celebrazione. Inoltre adesso ci si adegua alla data già in vigore in Portogallo. Purtroppo la Congregazione non ha concesso l'elevazione della memoria al grado di festa per tutto l'Ordine.
