Presentation of the CD, Albertus & Carmel, at St. Albert's International Centre in Rome
On Thursday, the 13th of March, Sr. Mariarosaria Calabrese and Sr. Mariagiulia Verdi, presented the CD, Albertus & Carmel, at the St. Albert's International Centre in Rome to an attendance of some fifty people.
The CD contains twelve songs, all to do with St. Albert of Jerusalem. The variety of songs, composed by the two sisters, gives a feeling for St. Albert as the one who wrote the Rule of Carmel, for the hermits who asked for the Rule and for the world in which all of this happened. The songs also look at the world of today and the kind of contribution someone might make to that world, based on the spirit of St. Albert and the Rule he wrote. Sr. Mariarosaria and Sr. Mariagiulia are both Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, living as hermits under the bishop of Arezzo, and affiliated to the Carmelite Order. They produced the CD both in Italian and in English. They hope it will have a wide diffusion as a way of making the figure and significance of St. Albert known more widely and as a novel way of celebrating the eighth centenary of his death.
The work of the sisters was warmly applauded by all who attended the presentation. The event ended with a rendition of Gounod's Ave Maria, by the international soprano, Felicia Bongiovanni. It is hoped in the future to produce a musical based on this work.

Presentación del CD “Albertus & Carmel” en el Centro Internacional San Alberto de Roma
El jueves 13 de marzo, sor Mariarosaria Calabrese y sor Mariagiulia Verdi presentaron en el Centro Internacional San Alberto de Roma, el CD “Albertus & Carmel”, con la asistencia de unas 50 personas.
El CD consta de doce canciones sobre San Alberto de Jerusalén, compuestas por las dos hermanas. Las canciones dan una visión de Alberto como escritor de la Regla del Carmelo, de los eremitas que se la pidieron y del ambiente en el que acontece todo ello. Las canciones también tienen presente el mundo de hoy y la aportación que se puede ofrecer al mismo basándose en el espíritu de la Regla escrita por San Alberto. Sor Mariarosaria y sor Mariagiulia son carmelitas que viven como eremitas afiliadas a la Orden bajo el obispo de Arezzo. Han realizado el CD en italiano y en inglés, con la esperanza de que sea ampliamente difundido para un mayor conocimiento de la persona y del significado de San Alberto y para contribuir de una manera nueva a la celebración del 800 aniversario de su muerte.
Los asistentes al acto aplaudieron la obra de las hermanas. El acto concluyó con la interpretación del Ave María de Gounod por la soprano, muy conocida a nivel internacional, Felicia Bongiovanni. Esperamos que próximamente se realice un musical basado en esta obra.

Presentazione del CD "Albertus & Carmel" al Centro Internazionale S. Alberto a Roma
Giovedì 13 marzo, Sr. Mariarosaria Calabrese e Sr. Mariagiulia Verdi hanno presentato il CD "Albertus & Carmel" alla presenza di circa 50 persone al Centro Internazionale S. Alberto a Roma..
Il CD contiene dodici canzoni che trattano di S. Alberto di Gerusalemme. Le diverse canzoni, composte dalle due suore, danno un'impressione di Alberto come scrittore della Regola del Carmelo, degli eremiti che gliel'hanno chiesta e dell'ambiente in cui tutto ciò accadde. Le canzoni prendono in considerazione anche il mondo di oggi e il contributo che uno potrebbe dare ad esso basandosi sullo spirito della Regola scritta da S. Alberto. Sr. Mariarosaria e Sr. Mariagiulia sono due suore carmelitane che vivono come eremite affiliate all'Ordine sotto il vescovo di Arezzo. Hanno prodotto il CD in italiano ed in inglese. Sperano che possa essere distribuito ampiamente per far conoscere meglio la persona e il significato di S. Alberto e contribuire in modo nuovo alla celebrazione dell'800° anniversario della sua morte.
Tutti i presenti hanno applaudito molto l'opera delle suore. L'evento si è concluso con una  interpretazione dell'Ave Maria di Gounod della soprano, nota al livello internazionale, Felicia Bongiovanni. Si spera di produrre nel futuro un musical basato su quest'opera.
