Inauguration of St John of the Cross Theological Institute
On March 25 th, 2014, the new Theological Institute of St John of the Cross, was inaugurated by His Excellency Mgr. Antonio Guido Filipazzi, the Nuncio to Indonesia,  after having finished the buildings of the campus. Present at this ceremony were also 5 other bishops from different parts of Indonesia and many priests, the local Government Officials, and about 4 (four) thousands guests and local people. In this area the majority of the population are Catholics.
St John of the Cross Major Seminary was owned by the Congregation of Carmelitae Sancti Eliae (CSE) and run together with the sisters of Putri Karmel (Daughters of Carmel), both affiliated to the Order. It was started in 2012. At present they have 17 students to start with, coming from Indonesia and Malaysia. The Theological Institute is situated in a small village called Bandol in the Archdiocese of Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Inauguración del St John of the Cross Theological Institute
El día 25 de marzo, una vez finalizados los trabajos del campus, fue inaugurado el nuevo "Theological Institute of St John of the Cross"  por el Nuncio en Indonesia, Mons. Antonio Guido Filipazzi. En el acto participaron cinco obispos de diversos lugares de Indonesia y numerosos sacerdotes, así como representantes del gobierno local y unos cuatro mil invitados junto con otras personas de la región, mayoritariamente católica.
El "St John of the Cross Major Seminary", iniciado el año 2012, perteneció a la Congregación de los Carmelitas de San Elías (CSE) y es gestionado conjuntamente con las hermanas Putri Carmel (Hijas del Carmelo), ambas afiliadas a la Orden. El Instituto cuenta actualmente con 17 estudiantes de Indonesia y Malasia y está situado en un pueblo pequeño llamado Bandol perteneciente a la diócesis de Pontianak, West Kalimantan de Indonesia.

Inaugurazione del St John of the Cross Theological Institute
A conclusione dei lavori per il campus, il 25 marzo 2014 è stato inaugurato dal Nunzio in Indonesia, Msg. Antonio Guido Filipazzi, il nuovo "Theological Institute of St John of the Cross". Hanno partecipato cinque vescovi da vari parti dell'Indonesia e tanti sacerdoti, rappresentanti del governo locale e circa quattromila ospiti e persone della zona a maggioranza cattolica.
Cominciato nel 2012, il "St John of the Cross Major Seminary" apparteneva alla Congregazione dei Carmelitani di Sant'Elia (CSE) ed è gestito assieme alle suore Putri Carmel (Figlie del Carmelo), entrambi affiliati all'Ordine. Al momento l'Istituto ha 17 studenti dall'Indonesia e dalla Malaysia. L'Istituto Teologico si trova in un piccolo paese chiamato Bandol nell'arcidiocesi di Pontianak, West Kalimantan, in Indonesia.
