Meeting of the coordinating team of the Carmelite NGO
The coordinating team of Carmelite NGO met on September 17, 2013 in Rome.  The members present were Sr Jane Remson (COLMC), Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm., General Councilor for Africa, William Harry, O.Carm. (PCM), Hariawan Adji, O.Carm. (Indo), Sr Blaise Fernando (COLMC), Sr Annah Theresa Nyadombo (HOLMC), Arie Kuil, O.Carm. (Neer), Eduardo Agosta Scarel, O.Carm. (ACV-Arg), and Andrea Ventimiglia (TOC, Italy).
The items discussed at the meeting included reports from regional representatives, the New York office, finances, communication and some projects dealing with human trafficking and climate change. Special attention was given to the social media and the cooperation between Carmelite NGO and the General Commission of JPIC. The Carmelite NGO will renew the presentation and format of its website by making it more active and interactive. Furthermore, the Carmelite NGO and JPIC commission have agreed to cooperate in the work of JPIC for the whole family of the Order. The first cooperation will be to develop a curriculum that deals with the issue of climate change for students and pastoral workers. The long term cooperation would include the support and participation of the Carmelite NGO in developing a Carmelite JPIC handbook to be published by the international commission of JPIC in the year of 2019.

Reunión del grupo coordinador de la ONG Carmelitana
El día 17 de septiembre se reunió en Roma el grupo coordinador de la ONG Carmelitana, con la participación de los siguientes  miembros: Sor Jane Remson (COLMC), Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm., Consejero General para África, William Harry, O.Carm. (PCM), Hariawan Adji, O. Carm. (Indo), Sor Blaise Fernando (COLMC), Sor Annah Theresa Nyadombo (HOLMC), Arie Kuil, O.Carm. (Neer), Eduardo Agosta Scarel, O.Carm. (ACV-Arg), y Andrea Ventimiglia (TOC, Italia).
El grupo trató diferentes temas: los informes de los representantes regionales, la oficina de New York, la situación económica, la intercomunicación y algunos proyectos referentes al tráfico de seres humanos y al cambio climático. Se prestó especial atención a los medios de comunicación social y a la cooperación entre la ONG Carmelitana y la Comisión General de Justicia, Paz e Integridad de la creación. La ONG Carmelitana se dispone a cambiar la presentación y formato de la página web para hacerla más dinámica e interactiva. La ONG y la Comisión General se han puesto de acuerdo para cooperar en el campo de la justicia, la paz y la integridad de la creación con toda la Familia Carmelitana. El primer proyecto de esta colaboración será la elaboración de un programa sobre el cambio climático para los estudiantes y para los que están implicados en la pastoral. A largo plazo la ONG Carmelitana colaborará en la compilación de un manual carmelitano sobre la justicia, la paz y la integridad de la creación, que se espera sea publicado por la Comisión General el año 2019.

Il gruppo di coordinamento dell'ONG Carmelitana si è incontrato il 17 settembre a Roma. Hanno partecipato: Sr Jane Remson (COLMC), Conrad Mutizamhepo, O.Carm., Consigliere Generale per l'Africa, William Harry, O.Carm. (PCM), Hariawan Adji, O. Carm. (Indo), Sr Blaise Fernando (COLMC), Sr Annah Theresa Nyadombo (HOLMC), Arie Kuil, O.Carm. (Neer), Eduardo Agosta Scarel, O.Carm. (ACV-Arg), e Andrea Ventimiglia (TOC, Italia).
Il gruppo ha discusso vari temi: le relazioni dei rappresentanti regionali, l'ufficio a New York, la situazione finanziaria, la comunicazione e alcuni progetti che trattano il traffico di esseri umani e il cambiamento climatico. È stata prestata attenzione in modo particolare ai mezzi di comunicazione sociale e alla cooperazione tra l'ONG Carmelitana e la Commissione Generale di Giustizia, Pace e l'Integrità del creato. L'ONG Carmelitana sta per rinnovare l'aspetto e il formato del sito web rendendolo più attivo e interattivo. Inoltre, l'ONG e la Commissione Generale si sono messe d'accordo per cooperare nel campo della giustizia, della pace e dell'integrità del creato con tutta la Famiglia Carmelitana. Il primo progetto di collaborazione sarà l'elaborazione di un programma sul cambiamento climatico per studenti e coloro che sono impegnati nella pastorale. A lungo termine l'ONG Carmelitana collaborerà alla compilazione di un manuale carmelitano sulla giustizia, la pace e l'integrità del creato, che dovrebbe essere pubblicato dalla Commissione Generale nel 2019.
