Air Asia crash
On December 28, 2014, Air Asia flight no. QZ8501 from Juanda - Surabaya to Changi - Singapore crashed in the sea of Pangkalan Bun – Borneo. 157 passengers and crew members are believed to have been lost. Among them one were a student and 4 alumni of St. Albert High School in Malang – Indonesia. There were also two families among the victims who were parishioners of our parishes, one in the parish of St. Andrew, Malang, and the other in the parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Probolinggo/Kraksaan. We send our deepest sympathy to the Indonesian Province and our prayers for victims, may they find eternal rest in the heavenly kingdom.

Sobre el incidente aéreo de Air Asia
El vuelo QZ850 de Juanda-Surabaya a Changi, Singapur, se precipitó al mar de PangkalanBun el 28 de diciembre de 2014, habiendo muerto los 157 pasajeros y la tripulación. Entre ellos se encontraba un estudiante de St. Albert High Scool de Malang, Indonesia. También se hallaban dos familias de nuestra parroquia de St. Andrew de Malang y una familia de nuestra parroquia de Our Lady of Mt. Carmel de Probolinggo/Kraksaan. Expresamos nuestro más sentido pésame a la Provincia de Indonesia y rezamos por el eterno descanso de las víctimas.

L'incidente aereo di Air Asia
Il 28 dicembre 2014 il volo Air Asia no. QZ8501 da Juanda-Surabaya a Changi, Singapore, è precipitato in mare di PangkalanBun, nel Borneo, e i 157 passeggeri e l'equipaggio sono morti. Tra di loro vi era uno studente e quattro ex studenti della St. Albert High School di Malang, in Indonesia. Vi erano anche due famiglie della nostra parrocchia di St. Andrew, a Malang, e una famiglia della nostra parrocchia di Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, a Probolinggo/Kraksaan. Esprimiamo le nostre condoglianze alla Provincia di Indonesia e preghiamo per l'eterno riposo delle vittime.
