The Ninth Annual Meeting of the Carmelite NGO, CISA - Rome, Italy
On June 22-23, 2015 the coordinating team of the Carmelite NGO held its annual meeting at CISA, Rome. The members who participated in the meeting were:  Sr. Jane Ramson O.Carm., Fr. Conrad Mutizamhepo O.Carm., Mr. Dennis Kalob, Fr. Hariawan Adji O.Carm., Sr. Annah Theresa Nyadombo HOLMC, .Fr. Eduardo Agosta Scarel O.Carm., Fr. Arie Kuil O.Carm. and Mr. Andrea Ventimiglia. Sr. Blaise Fernando O.Carm., an NGO member, also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Sr. Jane Ramson, the chair of the coordinating team, introduced Dennis Kalob as the new member of the organizing committee of the Carmelite NGO. Dennis Kalob takes over the responsibility of Sr. Helen Ojario O.Carm. as the representative of the Carmelite NGO at the UN. Besides discussing the regional reports, the finances, the themes of the 2016 Days of Prayer and the Carmengo bulletin, the meeting also discussed the UN programs on Sustainable Development Goals and the new encyclical of Pope Francis: Laudato Si. Sr. Jane Ramson reported that the Carmelite NGO has be asked to engage in a four year project on developing a curriculum on environmental issues. This curriculum is expected to be used in Carmelite schools in raising environmental awareness among students. A team which consists of Jane Ramson, Dennis Kalob, Eduardo Agosta Scarel, and Blaise Fernando was formed to carry out this project. The other members of the coordinating team (Conrad Mutizamhepo, Hariawan Adji, Annah Theresa Nyadombo, Arie Kuil and Andrea Ventimiglia) were asked to study how the Carmelite family deals with human trafficking issues. The result of this study is expected to be the foundation for a similar project, on the issue of human trafficking.

Nuevo encuentro anual de la ONG Carmelitana, en el CISA de Roma (Italia)
El grupo de coordinación de la ONG Carmelitana celebró su reunión anual en el CISA de Roma los días 22 y 23 de junio de 2015. Participaron Sor Jane Ramson O.Carm., el P. Conrad Mutizamhepo O.Carm., el Sr. Dennis Kalob, el P. Hariawan Adji O.Carm., Sor Annah Theresa Nyadombo HOLMC, el P. Eduardo Agosta Scarel O.Carm., el P. Arie Kuil O.Carm., y el Sr. Andrea Ventimiglia. También estuvo presente Sor Blaise Fernando, O.Carm., miembro de la ONG.
Durante el encuentro, Sor Jane Ramson, presidente del grupo de coordinación, presentó a Dennis Kalob como nuevo miembro del comité organizador de la ONG Carmelitana, que sustituye a Sor Helen Ojario, O.Carm., como representante de la ONG Carmelitana ante la ONU. Además de dialogar sobre los informes regionales, sobre la financiación, sobre temas relacionados con la Jornada de Oración y sobre el boletín “Carmengo”, se consideraron los programas de la ONU sobre la Agenda para el Desarrollo (Sustainable Development Goals) y la nueva encíclica del Papa Francisco ”Lodato si”. Sor Jane Ramson comunicó que la ONG Carmelitana ha sido invitada a implicarse en un proyecto cuatrienal para desarrollar un curriculum de estudios sobre cuestiones ambientales. Dicho curriculum se aplicaría en los colegios carmelitanos con el fin de promover entre los estudiantes conocimientos sobre el medio ambiente. Para realizar este proyecto se creó un grupo integrado por Jane Ramson, Dennis Kalob, Eduardo Agosta Scarel, y Blaise Fernando. A los demás miembros del grupo de coordinación, Conrad Mutizamhepo, Hariawan Adji, Annah Theresa Nyadombo, Arie Kuil y Andrea Ventimiglia, se les encargó investigar la manera en que la Familia Carmelitana está tratando la cuestión del tráfico de seres humanos. El resultado de este estudio constituiría la base para un proyecto similar sobre este tema.

Novo incontro annuale dell’ONG Carmelitana, CISA – Roma, Italia
Dal 22 al 23 giugno 2015 il gruppo di coordinamento dell’ONG Carmelitana ha tenuto il proprio incontro annuale al CISA a Roma. Vi hanno partecipato: Sr. Jane Ramson O.Carm., P. Conrad Mutizamhepo O.Carm., Sig. Dennis Kalob, P. Hariawan Adji O.Carm., Sr. Annah Theresa Nyadombo HOLMC, P. Eduardo Agosta Scarel O.Carm., P. Arie Kuil O.Carm. e Sig. Andrea Ventimiglia. Ha partecipato anche Sr. Blaise Fernando O.Carm., un membro dell’ONG.
Durante l’incontro Sr. Jane Ramson, preside del gruppo di coordinamento, ha presentato Dennis Kalob come nuovo membro del comitato organizzativo dell’ONG Carmelitana, il quale sostituisce Sr. Helen Ojario, O.Carm., come rappresentante dell’ONG Carmelitana presso l’ONU. Oltre alla discussione sulle relazioni regionali, sulle finanze, sui temi delle Giornate di Preghiera e sul bollettino “Carmengo”, sono stati discussi anche i programmi dell’ONU sull’Agenda per lo Sviluppo (Sustainable Development Goals) e la nuova enciclica di Papa Francesco “Laudato si’”. Sr. Jane Ramson ha riferito che all’ONG Carmelitana è stato chiesto di impegnarsi in un progetto quadriennale per lo sviluppo di un curriculum di studi su questioni ambientali. Questo curriculum dovrebbe essere usato nelle scuole carmelitane per favorire la coscienza degli studenti riguardo all’ambiente. È stato creato un gruppo formato da Jane Ramson, Dennis Kalob, Eduardo Agosta Scarel, e Blaise Fernando per realizzare questo progetto. Gli altri membri del gruppo di coordinamento, Conrad Mutizamhepo, Hariawan Adji, Annah Theresa Nyadombo, Arie Kuil e Andrea Ventimiglia, sono stati incaricati di studiare come la Famiglia Carmelitana tratta la questione del traffico di esseri umani. Il risultato di questo studio dovrebbe essere la base per un progetto simile su questo tema.
