Second meeting of the General Commission for the revision of the Constitutions
The second meeting of the General Commission for the revision of the Constitutions took place recently at the Centro Internazionale San Alberto in Rome, from Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th November 2015.
The meeting was organised by the member of the General Council with responsibility of the Commission, Fr. Michael Farrugia (Procurator General). He was joined by the other members of the Commission: Fr. Christian Körner (Vice Prior General), Fr. John Keating (General Councillor), Fr. Giovanni Grosso (Ita), Fr. Mario Alfarano (General Delegate-Nuns) , Fr. Michael Plattig (President - Carmelite Institute), Fr. Alexander Vella (Mel), Fr. Quinn Connors (PCM),  Fr. Claudemir Rozin (Par), Fr. Alberto Neglia (Itl), Fr. Edison Tinambunam (Indonesia), Fr. Desiderio Garcia Martinez (ACV), Br. Gunter Benker (Ger), Fr. Dariusz Borek (Pol),  Fr. Vicente Aranda Guillén (ACV). Fr. Joseph Chalmers (Brit), Fr.Jean Marie Dundjì Bagave (Ita-Con) and Fr. Charlò Camilleri (Mel) were unable to attend.
The meeting was divided into two sessions. The first session consisted of the workshops of four subcommittees according the four parts of the Constitutions. The second session considered the results from the discussions and the proposals presented by each subcommittee. Each subcommittee presented the text of a first draft of the revision of the Constitutions. The Commission discussed a letter, which is to be sent to the Major Superiors for the revision of the Constitutions.

Segundo encuentro de la Comisión General para la revisión de las Constituciones
El segundo encuentro de la Comisión General para la revisión de las Constituciones tuvo lugar del 16 al 18 de noviembre de 2015 en el Centro Internacional San Alberto de Roma.
Organizado por el P. Michael Farrugia (Procurador General), miembro del Consejo General y responsable de la comisión, participaron en el mismo los miembros de la comisión P. Christian Körner (Vice Prior General), el P. John Keating (Consejero General), el P. Giovanni Grosso (Ita), el P. Mario Alfarano (Delegado General para las monjas), el P. Michael Plattig (Presidente - Institutum Carmelitanum), el P. Alexander Vella (Mel), el P. Quinn Conners (PCM), el P. Claudemir Rozin (Par), el P. Alberto Neglia (Ita), el P. Edison Tinambunam (Indo), el P. Desiderio García Martínez (ACV), Fr. Gunter Benker (Ger), el P. Dariusz Borek (Pol) y el P. Vicente Aranda Guillén (ACV). Los PP. Joseph Chalmers (Brit), Jean Marie Dundjì Bagave (Ita-Con) y Charlò Camilleri (Mel) no pudieron asistir.
El encuentro se dividió en dos sesiones. Durante la primera se reunieron las cuatro subcomisiones correspondientes a las cuatro partes de las Constituciones. En la segunda sesión se debatió sobre los aspectos tratados en la anterior sesión y sobre las propuestas presentadas por cada una de las subcomisiones. Cada subcomisión ofreció el texto de un primer borrador de la revisión de las Constituciones. La Comisión también preparó una carta que será enviada a los Superiores Mayores de cara a la revisión definitiva.

Secondo incontro della Commissione Generale per la revisione delle Costituzioni
Il secondo incontro della Commissione Generale per la revisione delle Costituzioni si è svolto dal 16 al 18 novembre 2015 al Centro Internazionale Sant’Alberto a Roma.
L’incontro è stato organizzato dal membro del Consiglio Generale che ha la responsabilità della commissione, P. Michael Farrugia (Procuratore Generale). Hanno partecipato i seguenti membri della Commissione: P. Christian Körner (Vice Priore Generale), P. John Keating (Consigliere Generale), P. Giovanni Grosso (Ita), P. Mario Alfarano (Delegato Generale per le monache), P. Michael Plattig (Preside - Institutum Carmelitanum), P. Alexander Vella (Mel), P. Quinn Connors (PCM), P. Claudemir Rozin (Par), P. Alberto Neglia (Ita), P. Edison Tinambunam (Indo), P. Desiderio Garcia Martinez (ACV), Fr. Gunter Benker (Ger), P. Dariusz Borek (Pol),  P. Vicente Aranda Guillén (ACV). Non sono riusciti a partecipare P. Joseph Chalmers (Brit), P. Jean Marie Dundjì Bagave (Ita-Con) e P. Charlò Camilleri (Mel).
L’incontro è stato diviso in due sessioni. Durante la prima sessione si sono incontrate le quattro sottocommissioni che corrispondono alle quattro parti delle Costituzioni. Nella seconda sessione sono stati considerati i risultati delle discussioni e le proposte presentate da ciascuna sottocommissione. Ogni sottocommissione ha presentato il testo di una prima bozza delle Costituzioni aggiornate. La Commissione ha discusso anche una lettera che sarà inviata ai Superiori Maggiori per la revisione delle Costituzioni.
