The Activities of the General Archivist of the Carmelites
The General Archive of the Carmelite Order (AGOC), located in the Centro Internazionale Sant’Alberto, has been augmented with new and precious documents, through the transfer to it, over the past few months, of the Postulation Archive, which used to be located in the General Curia. This now constitutes a separate section of the AGOC. At the same time the process is underway to transfer to the AGOC from the current archive of the General Curia the documentation that covers the years 1935 to 1968.
In addition to welcoming Carmelite and other scholars, the AGOC has welcomed a number of doctoral students from the Gregorian University in Rome as part of their programme of studies. As a last point, the AGOC has offered a research project, in honour of Fr. Emanuele Boaga, for students who wish to work on the material in the archive. Actividad del Archivo General de los Carmelitas
El Archivo General de la Orden de los Carmelitas (AGOC), que se encuentra en el Centro Internacional San Alberto, ha sido enriquecido con nuevos y valiosos documentos. En efecto, durante los últimos meses se ha trasladado al mismo el Archivo de la Postulación, que tenía la sede en la Curia General, y que ahora ha pasado a ser una sección del AGOC. También se está efectuando el traslado, desde el archivo ordinario de la Curia General al AGOC, de los documentos pertenecientes a los años 1935-1968.
Además de acoger a estudiosos, sean o no carmelitas, el AGOC ha hospedado para un tiempo a algunos doctorandos de la Universidad Gregoriana de Roma. Finalmente, el AGOC ha creado un campo de investigación, dedicado a la memoria del P. Emanuele Boaga, para los estudiosos que deseen trabajar sobre el material del archivo.

Attività dell’Archivio Generale dei Carmelitani
L’Archivio Generale dell’Ordine Carmelitano (AGOC), sito nel Centro Internazionale Sant’Alberto, è stato arricchito di nuovi preziosi documenti. Nei mesi passati, infatti, vi è stato trasferito l’Archivio della Postulazione, che aveva sede nella Curia Generale, il quale ora costituisce una sezione dell’AGOC. Nello stesso tempo si sta procedendo al versamento dall’Archivio corrente della Curia Generale nell’AGOC dei documenti risalenti agli anni 1935-1968.
Oltre ad accogliere gli studiosi carmelitani e non, l’AGOC ha ospitato per uno stage alcuni dottorandi dell’Università Gregoriana di Roma. Infine, l’AGOC ha bandito un assegno di ricerca, intitolato alla memoria di P. Emanuele Boaga, per gli studiosi che vorranno lavorare sul materiale dell’archivio.
