The General Curia Community Retreat
On Sunday, the 10th of December, 2017, the members of the General Curia community had their Advent retreat in the  "Centro di Spiritualità Maria Madre del Carmelo” in Focene, Rome. Fr. Michael Plattig, O.Carm. President of the Institutum Carmelitanum, accepted the invitation to propose the meditation. Fr. Michael invited us to contemplate the mystery of the birth of Christ, making use of the article on “Mysticism” by Blessed Titus Brandsma. These profound and enriching reflections were of great help to the members of the Curia community in their preparation for Christmas.
As always the Carmelite Missionary Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, (SCMTBG) made us feel very at home, and helped to make this day of prayer and fraternity most enjoyable.

Retiro de la comunidad de la Curia General
El domingo 10 de diciembre de 2017, los miembros de la comunidad de la Curia General se reunieron  en el "Centro di Spiritualità Maria Madre del Carmelo” en Focene (Roma) para un día de retiro de Adviento. El P. Michael Plattig, O.Carm., Presidente del Institutum Carmelitanum, aceptó gustoso nuestra invitación para ofrecernos una meditación. El P. Michael nos invitó a contemplar el misterio del nacimiento de Cristo utilizando, entre otros, un artículo (“Mysticism”) del beato Tito Brandsma. La rica y profunda reflexión de ayudó a los hermanos de la comunidad de la Curia a profundizar su preparación para la Navidad.
Como siempre, la fraterna acogida de las Hermanas Carmelitas Misioneras de Santa Teresa del Niño Jesús (SCMTBG), nos hizo sentirnos en casa y disfrutar de este día de fraternidad y oración.

Ritiro della comunità della Curia Generalizia
Domenica 10 dicembre 2017 i membri della comunità della Curia Generalizia si sono riuniti al Centro di Spiritualità "Maria Madre del Carmelo" a Focene (Roma) per un giorno di ritiro in occasione dell’Avvento. P. Michael Plattig, O.Carm., Preside dell'Institutum Carmelitanum, ha accettato l’invito di proporci una meditazione. P. Michael ci ha invitato a contemplare la nascita di Cristo utilizzando, tra altro, un articolo (“Mysticism”) del beato Tito Brandsma. La profonda e ricca riflessione ha aiutato i fratelli della comunità della Curia ad approfondire la loro preparazione al Natale.
Come sempre, l'accoglienza fraterna delle Suore Carmelitane Missionarie di S. Teresa del Bambino Gesù (SCMTBG) ci ha fatto sentire a casa e approfittare di questo giorno di fraternità e preghiera.
