Activities of the Prior General
On the 27th of November, the Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm., delivered a lecture to the “Fundació Balmesiana” in Barcelona on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of Fr. Bartolomé F.M. Xiberta, O.Carm. In the gathering there was, among others, Fr. Luiz Maza O.Carm, the Prior Provincial of the Province of Catalonia, and Don Josep Maria Manresa, an expert in the ecclesiology of Xiberta. He gave a lecture on "Xiberta, Man of Faith".
Last Sunday, the 11th of February, the Prior General celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving on the anniversary of the foundation of the Donum Dei Missionary Family (FMDD). He was joined in the celebration by other members of the Curia. Following the Mass, the members of the Curia, along with Agnès Brethome and the members of her Council, as well as a large number of missionary workers from the different communities of the Donum Dei Family in Rome shared an agape together in an atmosphere of truly fraternal joy.
On the 16th of February, along with all the members of the General Curia, he led a celebration in CISA in honour of Fr. Mark Attard, O.Carm. who is about to return to his province in Malta after many years of living in St. Albert's International Centre (CISA)  and of teaching in a number of different faculties in Rome. In his words of appreciation, the Prior General thanked Mark for his generosity and dedication in carrying out his numerous services to the Order - Procurator General, Prior of CISA, Regens studiorum etc.)
Over this period, the Prior General visited the monasteries of Barcelona, Fontiveros, and Madrid (Spain)

Actividades del Prior General
El día 27 de noviembre de 2017 el Prior General, Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm., impartió una conferencia en la “Fundació Balmesiana” de Barcelona con motivo del 50º aniversario del fallecimiento del P. Bartolomé F.M. Xiberta. Estuvo acompañado, entre otros, del Provincial de Cataluña, P. Luis Maza, O.Carm. y por Don Josep Maria Manresa, experto en la eclesiología xibertiana, quien disertó acerca de “Xiberta hombre de fe”.
El pasado domingo, día 11 de febrero, el Prior General presidió una eucaristía de acción de gracias por el aniversario de la fundación de la Familia Misionera Donum Dei (FMDD). En la misma concelebraron algunos miembros de la Curia. Tras la misa, los miembros de la Curia, Agnès Brethome y las hermanas del Consejo General, así como numerosas trabajadoras misioneras de las diversas comunidades de la FMDD en Roma, compartieron un ágape en un ambiente de alegría fraterna.
El 16 de febrero, acompañado por todos los miembros de la Curia General, participó en el CISA en el acto de homenaje y despedida al P. Mark Attard, O.Carm., quien se prepara para volver a su Provincia de Malta tras varios decenios de vida en el CISA y de fecunda docencia en diversas facultades de Roma. En su discurso, el Prior General agradeció al P. Mark la generosidad y la dedicación con las que ha vivido sus diversos servicios a la Orden (Procurador General, Prior del CISA, Regens Studiorum, etc).
Durante este período, el Prior General ha visitado los monasterios de Barcelona, Fontiveros, y Madrid (España).

Attività del Priore Generale
Il 27 novembre 2017, in occasione del 50° anniversario della morte di P. Bartolomé F.M. Xiberta, il Priore Generale, Fernando Millán Romeral, O. Carm., ha tenuto una conferenza presso la "Fundació Balmesiana" di Barcellona. Tra gli altri erano presenti il Provinciale di Catalogna, P. Luis Maza, O. Carm., e Don Josep Maria Manresa, esperto in ecclesiologia xibertiana, che ha parlato su "Xiberta uomo di fede".
Domenica 11 febbraio il Priore Generale ha presieduto l'eucaristia di ringraziamento in occasione dell'anniversario di fondazione della Famiglia Missionaria Donum Dei (FMDD). Hanno concelebrato alcuni membri della Curia. Dopo la messa, i membri della Curia, Agnès Brethome, le sorelle del suo Consiglio Generale e tante Lavoratrici Missionarie provenienti dalle varie comunità di Roma hanno condiviso un’agape in un clima fraterno e allegro.
Il 16 febbraio, accompagnato da tutti i membri della Curia Generalizia, ha partecipato al CISA ad un atto di omaggio e di congedo in onore di P. Mark Attard, O. Carm, che, dopo diversi decenni di permanenza al CISA e al termine di una feconda attività di insegnamento in varie facoltà romane, si sta preparando a ritornare nella sua Provincia di Malta. Nel suo discorso il Priore Generale ha ringraziato P. Mark per la generosità e la dedizione con cui ha svolto i suoi vari incarichi a servizio dell'Ordine: Procuratore Generale, Priore del CISA, Regens Studiorum, ecc.
Durante questo periodo, il Priore Generale ha visitato i monasteri di Barcellona, Fontiveros e Madrid.
