It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fr. Edgar Koning, O.Carm. Fr. Edgar was born in 1932 in the Netherlands, made his first profession as a Carmelite in 1954, was ordained a priest in 1960. He served the Order both in the Netherlands and in the Philippines. He died today, as a result of Covid-19. The General Curia extends its condolences to the Dutch Province and to Fr. Edgar's family. May he rest in peace.

Con gran pesar os informamos la muerte de P. Edgar Koning, O.Carm. Nacido en Holanda en el 1932, su primera profesión religiosa la realizó en el año 1954 y ordenado sacerdote en el 1960. Él ha servido a la Orden en Holanda y en Filipinas. Ha muerto esta mañana a causa del COVID-19. La Curia general expresa sus más sinceras condolencias a la Provincia de Holanda y a la familia del P. Edgar. Descanse en paz.

E' con grande dispiacere che comunichiamo la morte di P. Edgar Koning, O.Carm. Nato in Olanda nel 1932, P. Edgar ha fatto la sua prima professione religiosa nel 1954 ed è stato ordinato sacerdote nel 1960. Ha servito l'Ordine in Olanda e nelle Filippine. E' morto quest'oggi a causa del COVID-19. La Curia Generale porge le sue sentite condoglianze alla Provincia d'Olanda e alla famiglia di P. Edgar. Riposi in pace.
