Appointment
Fr. Craig Morrison, O.Carm. (PCM) has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Near Eastern Studies of the Biblicum Pontifical Institute in Rome. Previously he had the title of “acting-dean”, but the Jesuits have changed their statutes and now a non-Jesuit can be a Dean at one of their schools in Rome. Fr. Craig Morrison officially becomes the first non-Jesuit in their history to be Dean at one of their schools. The decree came from the Jesuit General Curia after he was approved by the Holy See. Congratulations!

Nombramiento
P. Craig Morrison, O.Carm. (PCM) ha sido nombrado decano del la Facultad de Estudios de Oriente Antiguo del Instituto Pontificio Biblicum en Roma. Anteriormente, tuvo el título de “decano-temporal”, pero los jesuitas han cambiado sus estatutos y ahora un no jesuita puede ser un decano en una de sus escuelas en Roma. P. Craig Morrison oficialmente se convierte en el primer no jesuita en su historia que sea decano en una de sus escuelas. El decreto vino de la Curia General jesuita después de que fue aprobado por la Santa Sede. ¡Felicitaciones!

Nomina
P. Craig Morrison, O.Carm. (PCM) è stato nominato decano della Facoltà di Orientalistica del Pontificio Istituto Biblico di Roma. In precedenza, è stato pro-decano, però dopo il cambiamento degli statuti anche un non gesuita può essere decano dell'Istituto. P. Craig Morrison è il primo non gesuita nella storia ad essere nominato decano di uno dei loro istituti. Il decreto è stato rilasciato dalla Curia Generalizia dei Gesuiti dopo l'approvazione della Santa Sede. Auguri!
