Memorial of St. Teresa Margaret Redi, OCD -- September 1, 2021
On September 1st we celebrate the memory of St. Teresa Margarita Redi. She is said to have had a special gift for reaching the deaf and mentally ill nuns. Because of her life and work, she was able to grow deeply in her interior life. She came to be revered for her mystical gifts. She was given a special contemplative experience concerning the words of I John 4:8, "God is love", which was a phrase she would repeat often. . . . Memoria de S. Se dice que tenía un don especial para asistir y comunicarse con las monjas sordas y enfermas mentales. Gracias a su vida y a su trabajo, pudo crecer profundamente en su vida interior. Llegó a ser venerada por sus dones místicos. Vivió una experiencia contemplativa especial en relación con las palabras de I Juan 4:8, "Dios es amor", frase que repetía a menudo. . . . Memoria di S. Si dice che avesse un dono speciale per accudire e comunicare con le suore sorde e malate di mente.
