Blessed John Soreth was unflagging in his efforts at renewal, during what was an especially critical period for both the Church and the Order. He dedicated himself entirely to the reform of the Order, travelling across Europe, making canonical visitations and promoting a more faithful observance of religious life both in the older Provinces and convents and in the Mantuan Reformed Congregation. He wrote a commentary on the Rule, his Expositio paranetica, and published new revised Constitutions in 1462.

Bl Juan Soreth fue incansable en la obra de reforma en un período histórico particularmente crítico para la Iglesia y para la misma Orden. Se dedicó completamente a la reforma, recorriendo Europa en las visitas canónicas, y promovió la "observancia" tanto en las Provincias como en los conventos de la Congregación Mantuana. Escribió un comentario a la Regla (la Expositio paraenetica) y publicó las constituciones de 1462.

B. Giovanni Soreth fu instancabile nell'opera di riformatore in un periodo storico particolarmente critico per la Chiesa e per l'Ordine stesso. Si dedicò completamente alla riforma, percorrendo l'Europa per le visite canoniche, e promuovendo l'"osservanza" sia nelle Province e nei conventi che nella Congregazione Mantovana. Scrisse un commento alla Regola (la Expositio paraenetica) e pubblicò le costituzione del 1462.
