October 15 | Feast

October 15th is the feast of St. Teresa of Avila or Teresa of Jesus. We join with our Discalced brothers and sisters in celebrating the life of this remarkable Carmelite.

On March 12, 2022, we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the canonization of St. Teresa of Avila. Perhaps there has never been a canonization celebration at the Vatican matching the one held on March 12, 1622!

El 15 de octubre es la fiesta de Santa Teresa de Ávila o Teresa de Jesús. Nos unimos a nuestros hermanos y hermanas carmelitas descalzos para celebrar la vida de esta notable carmelita.

El 12 de marzo de 2022, celebramos el 400 aniversario de la canonización de Santa Teresa de Ávila. Tal vez no haya habido nunca una celebración de canonización en el Vaticano igual a la que tuvo lugar el 12 de marzo de 1622!

Il 12 marzo 2022 abbiamo celebrato il 400° anniversario della canonizzazione di Santa Teresa d'Avila. Forse non c'è mai stata una celebrazione di canonizzazione in Vaticano pari a quella del 12 marzo 1622!
