Second Chapter of the General Commissariat in India Held

The second chapter of the General Commissariat of St. Therese and St. Albert was held in Asirbhavan, Ernakulam, Kerala, India from February 13-18, 2023. "Hopeful walking to the plans of  God" (Jer. 29:11) was the theme of the chapter. 

Among those attending were the prior general Miceal O' Neill, general councilor Robert Thomas Puthusery, and 30 members of the commissariat working in Inda and abroad.

Some Indian Discalced Carmelites of the Latin rite, with permission of their superiors, asked that they might enter the Carmelite Order. On October 27, 2011, the General Delegation was canonically established. On September 3, 2019, the prior general, with the consent of the general council of the Order, instituted the General Commissariat of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. Albert of Jerusalem. According to the 2019 Status Ordinis, the Commissary has five houses in India and one in Germany.

El segundo capítulo del Comisariado General de Santa Teresita y San Alberto se llevó a cabo en Asirbhavan, Ernakulam, Kerala, India, del 13 al 18 de febrero de 2023. "Caminando con esperanza hacia los planes de Dios" (Jeremías 29:11) fue el tema del capítulo.

Entre los asistentes se encontraban el prior general Miceal O'Neill, el consejero general Robert Thomas Puthusery y 30 miembros del comisariado que trabajan en la India y en el extranjero.

Algunos carmelitas descalzos indios de rito latino, con permiso de sus superiores, pidieron entrar en la Orden Carmelita. El 27 de octubre de 2011 se constituyó canónicamente la Delegación General. El 3 de septiembre de 2019, el prior general, con el consentimiento del consejo general de la Orden, instituyó el Comisariado General de Santa Teresa de Jesús y San Alberto de Jerusalén Según el Status Ordinis de 2019, el Comisariado tiene cinco casas en India y una en Alemania.

Il secondo capitolo del Commissariato generale di Santa Teresa e Sant'Alberto si è svolto ad Asirbhavan, Ernakulam, Kerala, India, dal 13 al 18 febbraio 2023. Il tema del capitolo è stato "Camminare nella speranza verso i piani di Dio" (Geremia 29:11).

Tra i partecipanti, il Priore Generale Miceal O'Neill, il Consigliere Generale Robert Thomas Puthusery e 30 membri del Commissariato che lavorano in India e all'estero.

Alcuni carmelitani scalzi indiani di rito latino, con il permesso dei loro superiori, hanno chiesto di unirsi all'Ordine Carmelitano. Il 27 ottobre 2011 è stata costituita canonicamente la Delegazione Generale. Il 3 settembre 2019 il Priore Generale, con il consenso del Consiglio Generale dell'Ordine, ha istituito il Commissariato Generale di Santa Teresa di Gesù e Sant'Alberto di Gerusalemme, che, secondo il Status Ordinis del 2019, ha cinque case in India e una in Germania.
