Triennial Chapter of the Carmelite Nuns of SS.ma Concezione Monastery in Sutri, Italy Held The Elective Chapter of the Carmelite Monastery of the SS Concezione in Sutri (Italy) was held on February 2, 2025, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple. The monastery was founded in 1515 or, possibly 1489 by the Carmelites of the Congregation of Mantua who had a house of the Congregation in Sutri. St. Paul of the Cross, the founder of the Congregation of the the Passionists, gave spiritual exercises and meditations at the monastery. In 1641 Sr. Clara Androsilla and other sisters founded the Veliternine monastery. More recently, the nuns of the Carpineto Romano monastery came to help restore the community of Sutri which was close to closing. The monastery belongs to the S.M. Maddalena de' Pazzi Federation. Celebrado el Capítulo Trienal de las Monjas Carmelitas del Monasterio del SS.ma Concezione de Sutri (Italia) El 2 de febrero de 2025, fiesta de la Presentación del Señor en el Templo, se celebró el Capítulo Electivo del Monasterio de las Carmelitas de la SS.ma Concezione de Sutri (Italia). El monasterio fue fundado en 1515 o, posiblemente, en 1489 por las Carmelitas de la Congregación de Mantua, que tenían una casa de la Congregación en Sutri. San Pablo de la Cruz, fundador de la Congregación de los Pasionistas, daba ejercicios espirituales y meditaciones en el monasterio. En 1641, Sor Clara Androsilla y otras hermanas fundaron el monasterio de Veliternine. Más recientemente, las monjas del monasterio de Carpineto Romano vinieron a ayudar a restaurar la comunidad de Sutri, que estaba a punto de cerrar. El monasterio pertenece a la Federación S.M. Si è tenuto il Capitolo triennale delle monache carmelitane del Monastero della SS.ma Concezione di Sutri (Italia) Il Capitolo elettivo del monastero carmelitano della SS.ma Concezione di Sutri (Italia) si è tenuto il 2 febbraio 2025, festa della Presentazione del Signore al Tempio. Il monastero fu fondato nel 1515 o, forse, nel 1489 dai Carmelitani della Congregazione di Mantova che avevano una casa della Congregazione a Sutri. San Paolo della Croce, il fondatore della Congregazione dei Passionisti, tenne esercizi spirituali e meditazioni nel monastero.
