Chapter Members Receive and Discuss Input on the Chapter Theme. One Day Retreat before Elections. One Day Retreat Before the Elections    

The Chapter changed its direction from over the last several days of receiving reports. On Tuesday, members began looking at the implications of the theme for the General Chapter and Order. The first of the two inputs was given by Sr. Pat Murray, IBVM. Entitled “Today’s Social and Ecclesial Context” the presentation was followed by synodal style sharing in the small groups following the lunch break. On Wednesday, Carmelite Bishop Wilmar Santin spoke on Carmelite Missions “Ad gentes.” His presentation was followed by a reflection and discussion in language groups. On Thursday, September 18, Bishop Henricus Pidyarto Gunawan, O. Carm., bishop of Malang where the Chapter is taking place, joined the Carmelites for Mass and then gave the Chapter retreat and led the discernment for leadership.

Los miembros del capítulo reciben y debaten aportaciones sobre el tema del capítulo. Ritiro de un día antes de las elecciones

El capítulo cambió su orientación con respecto a los últimos días, en los que se recibieron informes. El martes, los miembros comenzaron a examinar las implicaciones del tema para el capítulo general y la orden. La primera de las dos aportaciones corrió a cargo de la hermana Pat Murray, IBVM. La presentación, titulada «El contexto social y eclesial actual», fue seguida de un intercambio sinodal en pequeños grupos tras la pausa para el almuerzo. El miércoles, el obispo carmelita Wilmar Santin habló sobre las misiones carmelitas «Ad gentes». Su presentación fue seguida de una reflexión y un debate en grupos lingüísticos. El jueves 18 de septiembre, el obispo Henricus Pidyarto Gunawan, O. Carm., obispo de Malang, donde se celebra el Capítulo, se unió a los carmelitas para la misa y luego impartió el retiro del Capítulo y dirigió el discernimiento para el liderazgo

Il Capitolo ha cambiato direzione rispetto agli ultimi giorni dedicati alla ricezione delle relazioni. Martedì i membri hanno iniziato ad esaminare le implicazioni del tema per il Capitolo Generale e per l'Ordine. Il primo dei due contributi è stato presentato da Sr. Pat Murray, IBVM. Intitolata “Il contesto sociale ed ecclesiale odierno”, la presentazione è stata seguita da una condivisione in stile sinodale in piccoli gruppi dopo la pausa pranzo. Mercoledì, il vescovo carmelitano Wilmar Santin ha parlato delle missioni carmelitane “Ad gentes”. La sua presentazione è stata seguita da una riflessione e da una discussione in gruppi linguistici. Giovedì 18 settembre, il vescovo Henricus Pidyarto Gunawan, O. Carm., vescovo di Malang, dove si svolge il Capitolo, si è unito ai Carmelitani per la Messa e poi ha tenuto il ritiro del Capitolo e ha guidato il discernimento per la leadership.
