142/2025: Final Message from the General Chapter -- Friday, September 26
From the General Chapter | September 9-26, 2025 The Members of the General Chapter celebrated Morning Prayer together and then moved to the Chapter Hall for a final session. First order of business was the reading of the proposed Message of the Chapter to the Carmelite Family. Following its reading in the three languages of the Order, the members made some suggestions and then the message was unanimously approved. Following a talk by the new prior general, Desiderio García Martínez, the Chapter was adjourned. Later today the members will travel to the Cathedral of Malang for Mass with Bishop Henricus Pidyardo Gunawan, O. Carm. There they will sign the Acts of the Chapter. Del Capítulo General | 9-26 de septiembre de 2025 Los miembros del Capítulo General celebraron juntos la oración matutina y luego se trasladaron a la sala capitular para la sesión final. El primer punto del orden del día fue la lectura del mensaje propuesto por el Capítulo a la Familia Carmelita. Tras su lectura en los tres idiomas de la Orden, los miembros hicieron algunas sugerencias y luego el mensaje fue aprobado por unanimidad. Tras el discurso del nuevo prior general, Desiderio García Martínez, se levantó la sesión del Capítulo. Más tarde, los miembros se desplazarán a la catedral de Malang para asistir a la misa con el obispo Henricus Pidyardo Gunawan, O. Carm. Allí firmarán las Actas del Capítulo. Dal Capitolo Generale | 9-26 settembre 2025 I membri del Capitolo Generale hanno celebrato insieme la preghiera del mattino e poi si sono trasferiti nella sala capitolare per la sessione finale. Il primo punto all'ordine del giorno è stata la lettura del messaggio proposto dal Capitolo alla Famiglia Carmelitana. Dopo la lettura nelle tre lingue dell'Ordine, i membri hanno avanzato alcuni suggerimenti e poi il messaggio è stato approvato all'unanimità. Dopo un discorso del nuovo priore generale, Desiderio García Martínez, il Capitolo è stato aggiornato. Nel corso della giornata i membri si recheranno alla Cattedrale di Malang per la Messa con il vescovo Henricus Pidyardo Gunawan, O. Carm. Lì firmeranno gli Atti del Capitolo.
