Bl. Aloysius Rabatà, Priest From the canonical process of Blessed Luigi Rabatà I knew and spent time with Brother Luigi of the Carmelites of Randazzo, who was prior of the Carmelite monastery known as San Michele. He was a man of the highest virtue and fasted constantly on bread and water, living truly as a saint and an exemplary religious, keeping himself apart from the people and devoting himself to virtuous pursuits. Because of his virtues, he was looked down upon and treated badly even by the less observant friars. He, however, bore all the annoyances and the temperament of those religious with great patience, and he practiced virtue and devoted himself to the good of the convent. B. Aloysius Rabatàm, Sacerdote Del proceso canónico del beato Luis Rabatà Conocí y traté al fraile Luis, de los carmelitas de Randazzo, que era prior del convento del Carmen, llamado de San Miguel. Era una persona muy virtuosa y ayunaba continuamente a pan y agua, viviendo como un auténtico santo y un excelente religioso, apartado de la gente y dedicado a ocupaciones honradas. Por sus virtudes era mal visto y maltratado incluso por los frailes menos observantes. Sin embargo, él soportaba con gran paciencia todas las molestias y el mal genio de esos religiosos, y se ejercitaba en la virtud y se esforzaba por el bien del convento. B. Aloysius Rabatà, Sacerdote Dal processo canonico del B. Luigi Rabatà Ho conosciuto e frequentato frate Luigi dei Carmelitani di Randazzo, che era priore del convento del Carmine chiamato di san Michele. Era persona virtuosissima e digiunava continuamente a pane e acqua, vivendo proprio da santo e ottimo religioso, standosene appartato dalla gente e impegnato in oneste occupazioni. Per le sue virtù era mal visto e trattato male perfino dai frati meno osservanti. Egli però sopportava con grande pazienza tutte le noie e il temperamento di quei religiosi, e si esercitava nella virtù e si impegnava per il bene del convento.
