Culture and Spirituality in dialogue
The Institutum Carmelitanum and the community of St. Albert’s International Centre (CISA) have organised a series of events under the title, "Bellezza del Carmelo... tra pittura, musica e poesia", (The Beauty of Carmel, picture, music and poetry), that will be held at CISA on the 3rd Thursday of each of the three coming months, from 7.00 p.m to 8.30 p.m. The purpose of these events is to help people to get to know figures and themes from the Carmelite tradition that are important both for their contribution to culture and their significance for spirituality.
The first event is planned for the 15th of March. It will be conducted by Fr. Emanuele Boaga, O.Carm. on the theme, “Holy Mary of Mount Carmel: iconography”. That will be followed on the 19th of April by Federico Truffi of the University of London, who will talk about, “Semblances of beauty: the madrigals of Bartolino da Padova”, a Carmelite composer of the 14th century. The series will end with a presentation by Andrea Severi, of the University of Bologna, with the title, “Adolescence: The Poetry of Baptist of Mantua”.

Cultura y Espiritualidad en diálogo
El Institutum Carmelitanum y la comunidad del Centro Internacional San Alberto (CISA) han organizado un ciclo de encuentros, de las 19 a las 20.30 horas del tercer jueves de mes, bajo el título “Belleza del Carmelo… entre pintura, música y poesía”. Se pretende dar a conocer figuras y temas de la tradición carmelitana que, además de ser importantes desde el punto de vista espiritual, lo son también desde el cultural.
La primera sesión está prevista para el 15 de marzo sobre el tema “Santa María del Carmelo: iconografía”, guiado por el P. Emanuele Boaga, O.Carm.. En la siguiente, el día 19 de abril, Federico Truffi, de la Universidad de Londres, presentará el tema “Los bellos semblantes: los madrigales de Bartolino de Padua”, un compositor carmelitano del siglo XIV. Cerrará el ciclo Andrea Severi, de la Universidad de Bologna, con el tema “Adolescentia: la poesía de Battista Mantovano”.

L'Institutum Carmelitanum e la comunità del Centro Internazionale S. Alberto (CISA) hanno organizzato una rassegna di incontri dal titolo "Bellezza del Carmelo... tra pittura, musica e poesia", che si svolgeranno al CISA il 3° giovedì del mese dalle 19 alle 20.30. L'intento è di far conoscere figure e temi della tradizione carmelitana importanti per il loro carattere culturale oltre che per la spiritualità.
Il primo appuntamento è previsto per il 15 marzo e sarà guidato da P. Emanuele Boaga, O.Carm., sul tema "S. Maria del Carmelo: iconografia". Si proseguirà il 19 aprile, con Federico Truffi dell'Università di Londra, che presenterà "I bei sembianti: i madrigali di Bartolino da Padova", un compositore carmelitano del XIV secolo. Chiuderà il ciclo Andrea Severi dell'Università di Bologna, sul tema "Adolescentia: la poesia di Battista Mantovano".
