Electronic newsletter for the Lay Carmelites
With joy and fraternity we offer you a new edition of E-Bulletin for the Carmelite Laity. This time around, you will find some testimonies from people who have come closer to God through the Carmelite spirituality that we offer in our various groups and institutions.
Likewise, we will read the news of the re-foundation of the Third Order in Sergipe, in northeastern Brazil, where this group had almost disappeared, and was reborn due to the interest of the local bishop and the friars who returned to work with the faithful of this place.
We are also happy to learn about the constancy of the Carmelite Family in the Philippines that met last July completing 23 years of consecutive annual meetings. One of its members offers us a short reflection on Saint Teresa, and with it, we close the V Centenary of the birth of this great saint and our sister.
Lay Carmelites also participate in many ministries in the Church. In this issue we highlight some of the apostolates of the Lay Carmelite and their great experience in these places.

Boletín electrónico para el Laicado Carmelita
Con alegría y fraternidad os ofrecemos una nueva edición del Boletín Electrónico del Laicado Carmelita. En esta ocasión encontraremos algunos testimonios de personas que se han acercado a Dios por medio de la Espiritualidad Carmelita que ofrecemos a través de nuestros diferentes grupos e instituciones.
Asimismo, leeremos la noticia de la refundación de la Tercera Orden Carmelita en Sergipe, en el nordeste de Brasil, donde este grupo había casi desaparecido y que renació debido al interés del obispo local y de los frailes que regresaron para trabajar con los fieles de dicho lugar.
También nos alegramos por la Familia Carmelita en las Filipinas que nos hace llegar una pequeña reflexión sobre Santa Teresa, con la cual cerramos el V Centenario de nacimiento de esta gran santa y hermana nuestra.
El Laicado abarca en muchos modos a la Juventud Carmelita, y en esta edición compartimos la gran experiencia de más de 170 jóvenes españoles que salieron en peregrinación hacia Santiago de Compostela, España.

Bollettino Elettronico per i Laici Carmelitani
Con grande gioia e spirito di fraternità vi offriamo una nuova edizione del Bollettino Elettronico dei Laici Carmelitani. Questa volta lo troverete arricchito da alcune testimonianze di persone che si sono avvicinate a Dio attraverso la spiritualità carmelitana, che hanno potuto scoprire e gustare all’interno dei nostri vari gruppi e istituzioni.
Inoltre è stata data attenzione alla notizia della rifondazione del Terzo Ordine di Sergipe, nel nord-est del Brasile. Il gruppo, in quella zona, era quasi scomparso, ma è potuto rinascere, grazie all’interesse del vescovo locale e dei frati, che sono tornati a lavorare con i fedeli.
Un altro spazio importante è stato dato alla Famiglia Carmelitana nelle Filippine, che è per tutti noi motivo di grande gioia. Infatti, grazie alla costanza e all’entusiasmo di tanti fratelli e sorelle, lo scorso luglio è stato raggiunto il bel traguardo di 23 anni di incontri annuali consecutivi. In particolare abbiamo potuto godere del dono di un prezioso contributo sulla figura di S. Teresa d’Avila, offerto da un membro della Famiglia, durante la chiusura del V° Centenario della nascita di questa grande santa e nostra sorella.
Anche dall’Italia sono giunte tante notizie interessanti sulle attività svolte negli ultimi mesi. Con gioia condividiamo, su queste pagine elettroniche, la notizia dell’apertura dell’anno pastorale nella Provincia Napoletana e del bel pellegrinaggio svolto in Spagna sulle orme di S. Teresa, nella celebrazione del suo Centenario.
Inoltre siamo lieti di annunciare la nascita del nuovo sito ufficiale dei Laici Carmelitani. Il sito offre le ultime notizie, attività ed eventi del Laicato Carmelitano in tutto il mondo, come anche molti articoli e conferenze offerti dai laici e per i laici.
