A Meeting of the General Council
The last meeting of the General Council took place between the 6th and the 16th of December. In addition to the various items of ordinary administration and the reports of the General Councillors, the Prior General and his Council made the following appointments for the next three years of the present sexennium:

Prior and Bursar of the General Curia: Christian Körner
Sacristan of the General Curia: Carl Markelz
Postulator General: Dr Giovanna Brizi
Librarian of the Carmelite Library and Bibliographer: Ton van der Gulik (Neer)
Webmaster: Joseph Khoa Hoang (SEL)
Bursar at CISA: Jan Wozniak (Pol)

The Council approved the various translations of the new rite for simple and solemn profession. The texts of the rite now approved will be published very soon. In addition, attention was given to the achievements and some of the suggestions arising from the General Congregation.

Besides the work of the Council, during this plenary meeting the members of the community  of the General Curia spent an evening of fraternity with the community of CISA with evening prayer and a meal on the 9th of December. On the 14th of December they were guests at the Lay Centre, Foyer Unitas, while on the 15th of December, they joined with the staff of the Curia for a Christmas lunch.

Reunión del Consejo General
Las últimas sesiones del Consejo General tuvieron lugar del 6 al 16 de diciembre. Además de tratar diversos temas de la administración ordinaria y las exposiciones de los Consejeros Generales, el Prior General y su Consejo efectuaron los siguientes nombramientos para los tres próximos años del presente sexenio:

Prior y ecónomo de la Curia General: Christian Körner
Sacristán de la Curia General: Carl Markelz
Postuladora General: Doctora Giovanna Brizi
Bibliotecario de la Biblioteca Carmelitana y Bibliógrafo: Ton van der Gulik (Neer)
Webmaster: Joseph Khoa Hoang (SEL)
Ecónomo del CISA: Jan Wozniak (Pol)

El Consejo aprobó diversas traducciones de la nueva fórmula para la profesión simple y solemne. Los textos ahora aprobados se publicarán próximamente. Se prosiguió también el trabajo de verificación y de realización de algunas sugerencias formuladas durante la Congregación General.

En el transcurso de estos trabajos del Consejo, los miembros de la comunidad de la Curia General visitaron el día 9 de diciembre la comunidad del CISA con la que celebraron las Vísperas y una cena fraterna. El 14 de diciembre fueron acogidos por el “Lay Center Foyer Unitas”, y el 15 de diciembre se unieron al personal de la Curia en una comida navideña.

Riunione del Consiglio Generale
L’ultima riunione del Consiglio Generale si è tenuta dal 6 al 16 dicembre. Oltre i diversi temi di ordinaria amministrazione e le relazioni dei Consiglieri Generali, il Priore Generale ed il suo Consiglio hanno fatto le seguenti nomine per i prossimi tre anni del sessennio corrente:

Il Consiglio ha approvato varie traduzioni della nuova formula per la professione semplice e solenne. I testi delle formule ormai approvate verranno pubblicati prossimamente. Inoltre si è continuato con la verifica e la realizzazione di alcuni suggerimenti offerti durante la Congregazione Generale.

Oltre al lavoro del Consiglio, durante questa sessione plenaria i membri della comunità della Curia Generalizia hanno visitato il 9 dicembre la comunità del CISA per i vespri e una cena fraterna. Il 14 dicembre sono stati ospiti del “Lay Center Foyer Unitas”, mentre il 15 dicembre si sono riuniti con il personale della Curia per un pranzo natalizio.
