The End of the 2018-2019 academic year at CISA
On June 14, the closing ceremony of the academic year was celebrated in our International Center of San Alberto (CISA) in which the members of both international communities (Curia and CISA) present in those days in Rome participated. Like every year, during Solemn Vespers, the Prior General shared with the members of the community some of the latest activities of the Order and dwelt on some points related to the next General Chapter this coming September. This being the last meeting of this type of this sexennium, the Prior General thanked the Prior of CISA (Míceál O'Neill), the Sub Prior (Noel Rosas), the bursar (Jan Wozniak) and the Regens Studiorum (Giovanni Grosso ) for their great work at the service of this international community. He also thanked those in charge of the various services and entities that have their headquarters in the CISA (the Institutum Carmelitanum, the General Archive, the libraries, etc.) and the employees for their service in support of culture and formation in the Order. He also highlighted the good atmosphere that exists in CISA and stressed that everyone has contributed to make this happen. The Prior General had a special mention for Fr. Ton Van der Gulik, librarian of the Carmelite Library (who ends his service in September, to return to the Dutch province) for his excellent work in charge of this great Carmelite library and the Carmelus bibliography. The celebration concluded with dinner in an atmosphere of fraternity and joy.

Clausura del curso 2018-2019 en el CISA
El pasado 14 de junio se celebró en nuestro Centro Internacional de San Alberto (CISA) el acto de clausura del año académico en el que participaron los miembros de ambas comunidades internacionales (Curia y CISA) presentes en esos días en Roma. Como cada año, durante las Vísperas Solemnes, el Prior General compartió con los miembros de la comunidad algunas de las últimas actividades de la Orden e informó acerca de algunos puntos relacionados con el próximo Capítulo General de septiembre. Asimismo -y al tratarse del último encuentro de este tipo del sexenio- el Prior General agradeció al Prior del CISA (Míceál O´Neill), al vice Prior (Noel Rosas) y al ecónomo (Jan Wozniak) y al Regens Studiorum (Giovanni Grosso) su estupendo trabajo al servicio de esta comunidad internacional. Asimismo, agradeció a los encargados de los diversos servicios y entes que tienen su sede en el CISA (el Institutum Carmelitanum, el Archivo General, las bibliotecas, etc.) y a los empleados su servicio en favor de la cultura y de la formación en la Orden. También destacó el buen ambiente que se vive en el CISA y subrayó que todos han contribuido para que esto sea así. El Prior General tuvo una mención especial para el p. Ton Van der Gulik, bibliotecario (que termina en septiembre su servicio, para volver a la provincia holandesa) por su excelente labor al cargo esta gran biblioteca carmelitana y de la bibliografía de Carmelus. La celebración concluyó con la cena en un ambiente de fraternidad y alegría.

Chiusura dell’anno accademico 2018-2019 al CISA
Lo scorso 14 giugno, presso il nostro Centro Internazionale Sant’Alberto (CISA), si è celebrata la chiusura dell'anno accademico. Vi hanno partecipato i membri delle due comunità internazionali, la Curia e il CISA, presenti in questi giorni a Roma. Come ogni anno, durante i vespri solenni, il Priore Generale ha condiviso con i membri della comunità alcune delle recenti attività dell'Ordine e ha informato su alcuni temi riguardanti il Capitolo Generale del prossimo settembre. Trattandosi dell'ultimo incontro di questo sessennio, il Priore Generale ha anche ringraziato il Priore del CISA, Míceál O'Neill, il Vice Priore, Noel Rosas, l'economo, Jan Wozniak e il Regens Studiorum, Giovanni Grosso per il grande lavoro a servizio di questa comunità internazionale. Ha ringraziato anche gli incaricati dei vari servizi ed enti che hanno la loro sede presso il CISA: l'Institutum Carmelitanum, l'Archivio Generale, le biblioteche, ecc. e gli impiegati per il loro impegno a favore della cultura e della formazione nell'Ordine. Ha anche sottolineato il buon clima che si sta vivendo al CISA, frutto del contributo di ciascuno. Il Priore Generale ha menzionato in modo particolare il bibliotecario P. Ton Van der Gulik, che a settembre terminerà il suo incarico per far ritorno nella provincia olandese, per il suo eccellente lavoro nel settore della biblioteca carmelitana e della bibliografia di Carmelus.
La celebrazione si è conclusa con una cena in un clima di fraternità e gioia.
