Celebrating at Home: The Gentleness of the Lamb Ordinary Time in the church’s year begins with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord which celebrates his identity as the ‘beloved Son’. On this second Sunday in Ordinary Time we move from the baptism to the mission of the one baptised. As the first reading this Sunday says, this servant has a universal mission to gather and restore God’s people, to be the ‘light of the nations’ and to proclaim God’s salvation ‘to the ends of the earth’. Celebrando en Família: La Mansedumbre del Cordero El tiempo Ordinario del año eclesiástico se inicia con la fiesta del Bautismo del Señor, que celebra su identidad como el ‘Hijo predilecto’. En este segundo domingo del tiempo Ordinario pasamos del bautismo a la misión del bautizado. Celebrando in Casa: La mansuetudine dell'Agnello Il Tempo Ordinario dell'anno della Chiesa inizia con la festa del Battesimo del Signore, che celebra la sua identità di ‘Figlio prediletto’. In questa seconda domenica del Tempo Ordinario passiamo dal battesimo alla missione del battezzato.
