From the time of her adolescence she realised that she was called to follow Christ in a radical manner, Christ whose loving Mother of Carmel was entrusting her with the task of making Carmel flourish once more in her town as well as in others.

Like all saints, in order to make this plan come true, Mother Crocifissa went through innumerable trials and sufferings for many years, even to the time of her providential encounter with a Carmelite, Fr. Lorenzo van den Eerenbeemt, who helped her to start a small missionary Carmel in Santa Marinella in the diocese of Porto San Rufina (Rome).

Desde la adolescencia advirtió en sí la llamada a seguir radicalmente a Cristo que,a través de la tierna Madre del Carmelo, le confiaba el proyecto divino de hacer reflorecer el Carmelo en su país y en muchos otros.

Como todos los santos, también M. Crocifissa para llevar a cabo este proyecto, sufrió grandes pruebas y sufrimientos prolongados por muchísimos años, hasta el encuentro providencial con el carmelita P. Lorenzo van den Eerenbeemt, que permitió dar vida a un pequeño Carmelo misionero en Santa Marinella, diócesis de Porto S.Rufina (Roma).

Fin dall’adolescenza avvertì in sé la chiamata a seguire radicalmente Cristo che, attraverso la tenera Madre del Carmelo, le affidava il progetto divino di far rifiorire il Carmelo nel suo paese e in molti altri.

Come tutti i santi, anche M. Crocifissa per realizzare questo disegno conobbe innumerevoli prove e sofferenze prolungatesi per lunghissimi anni, fino a quando l’incontro provvidenziale con il carmelitano P. Lorenzo van den Eerenbeemt le permise di dar vita ad un piccolo Carmelo missionario in S. Marinella, diocesi di Porto S. Rufina (Roma).
