Carmelite Website offers daily Lectio Divina in eBook format for IPad, IPhone and Kindle. The Website of the Order now offers daily Lectio Divina in ebook fortmat so readers can download to their mobile and tablet devices and read them offline. Lectio Divina ebook will be available in 2 formats: in iBooks format (for IPad and IPhone) and in kindle format (for all Kindle devices and other tablets that have the Kindle Application). 200th session of Lectio Divina in the Church of Santa Maria in Traspontina in Rome. With the session that took place on the 9th of March last, Lectio Divina in the Church of Santa Maria in Transpontina reached its 200th edition. Under the guidance of Fr. Bruno Secondin, with the help of a group of collaborators, these sessions of prayerful reading of the Word of God began in the season of Advent in 1996. The Bi-annual meeting of the General Councils, O.Carm. and O.C.D. On the 8th of March last, the bi-annual meeting of our General Council and our Discalsed counterparts took place at our Curia in Rome. Opening the meeting the Prior General, Fr. Fernando Millán Romeral, O.Carm. prayed for Fr. John Malley, O.Carm., who died recently. He also prayed for Fr. Camilo Maccise, O.C.D. who is very ill in Mexico. Domus Carmelitana Advisory Commission For the sake of convenience and economy, the Domus Carmelitana Advisory Commission always meets at the same time as the General Finance Commission: four members of the latter also advise on the Domus. Other members of the Domus Commission are John Lanahan (hotel finance consultant) and Janet Keeffe (tour operator).
