News from the Postulator General Over the last few months, the Postulator General, Prof. Giovanna Brizi, has reported at a number of different events on matter dealing with Postulation, particularly with the new Norms for the Administration Funds for the Causes of Beatification and Canonisation” approved by Pope Francis in March 2016. A Convention of the Superiors General of the Carmelite Institutes of Consecrated Life From the 14th to the 16th of October, at the “Maria Madre del Carmelo” Centre in Focene (Rome), the 7th Convention of the Superiors General of Carmelite Institutes of Consecrated Life took place. The Carmelite Nuns in Camerino hit by the earthquake in Italy The shocks of the earthquake that from the end of August have been hitting the centre of Italy, struck the monasteries of Iesi and in particular the monastery of Camerino. A Meeting of the General Council In the recent plenary meeting of the General Council, that took place from the 10th to the 12th of October, a very positive evaluation was made of the General Congregation celebrated not long ago in Fatima.
