Diocesan process for the Beatification of Mother Mary Ellerker of the Blessed Sacrament finishes its work. On 16th May 2015, in the Holy Rosary Church in the Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Archbishop Joseph Harris, CSSp concluded the diocesan phase of the process for the Beatification of the Servant of God, Mother Mary Ellerker of the Blessed Sacrament (1875-1949), foundress of the Corpus Christi Carmelites. Commission for Evangelization and Mission In response to the General Chapter of 2013, the Order’s commission for evangelization and mission at its September meeting began to work on a project that might engage the whole Carmelite Family. Activities of the Prior General As part of the visitation of the British Province and accompanied by Fr. John Keating, O. Carm., Councillor General for Europe, the Prior General celebrated a thanksgiving Eucharist on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the National Shrine of St. Jude in Faversham and of the various bodies linked to it.
